Charlie Koolhaas presented her installation City Lust at the Lodz Design Festival in 2014. The installation consisted of a 25-meter long unfolded cardboard book containing photographs from five globalized cities; Dubai, Guangzhou, Lagos, Houston and London. With buildings and pavements printed to one-to-one scale, the viewer was transported into a simulacrum of the markets, restaurants, galleries, offices, brothels and night-clubs from Charlie’s photos.
